Broncos president excited about possibility of stadium project…

Although the Denver Broncos have not ruled out remaining at Mile High’s Empower Field, there has been much conjecture that the team may eventually choose to construct a new, massive stadium that will host future events like the Super Bowl.

Although the Broncos have not yet made an announcement—the rumors of a new stadium are just that—team president Damani Leech has acknowledged that he is excited about the prospect of a new stadium project.

“I love this part, and I love this job,” Leech stated in March. Making things better is one of the things I adore most about it. Not only for me, but also for our employees and supporters. One of the best places to accomplish so and take part in it is a stadium.

When you speak with other coworkers who have worked on stadium projects, they discuss it. It’s revolutionary for their career. This is a unique moment. If you have the opportunity to participate in a stadium’s life cycle even once during your career, you’re fortunate. So that alone is extremely exciting.”

If Denver decides to build a stadium from scratch, a decision may be made soon. Leech will be eager to be at the forefront of that project, should the team decide to do so. You talk to other colleagues who have been involved with stadium projects, and they talk about it. It’s transformational for their career. It’s a special moment. Given the life cycle of a stadium, you’re lucky if you get to be a part of it just once in your career. That alone is pretty exciting.
