EXCLUSIVE : Where can I watch the NASCAR race in Texas for free, and what time does it start today?

At Texas Motor Speedway, Carson Hocevar’s qualifying lap in the Spire Motorsports Chevrolet was 191.659 mph, earning him his first Cup pole.

When the green flag is dropped for the Würth 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY in Fort Worth, Texas on Sunday, May 4, he will be atop the pole. You can watch the race live on fibo TV (FREE trial), Sling TV (discount), or DirecTV Stream (FREE trial and discount). The race is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. EDT.

There are 400.5 miles and 267 laps in the race.

Hocevar will compete in the 45th Cup event at Texas Motor Speedway, where he is the youngest pole winner in history. William Byron, who leads the Cup points with a speed of 191.564 mph and is also driving a Chevy, will start his 56th career Cup race in the front row.

In the meantime, Austin Cindric will receive a lot of attention because he will start in the second row for the NASCAR Cup race following a week of celebrating a victory at Talladega and because of a profanity-filled radio tirade that his own teammate threw at him during Team Penske’s season-opening victory.

Speaking with Joey Logano, who became enraged halfway through the race when rival Toyota driver Bubba Wallace won the second stage and earned vital extra points because Cindric failed to provide him with the assistance he needed in his Ford, was another topic of discussion.

Cindric achieved 191.523 mph on his qualifying lap. Logano will start two positions ahead of Chase Elliott, the reigning race champion, in 27th place.

Certainly necessary, isn’t it? I mean, I believe you need to discuss that. Talking about what transpired must be on course. On Saturday, Cindric told The Associated Press, “I think that’s a lot more of the substance of the conversation.”

As he put it, “I feel like I know Joey pretty well and I have a pretty thick skin, so I’m not overly concerned or have too many emotions what was said.” For us, however, I believe that determining where we both stood and what we can do going forward to improve and take advantage of those chances is important.

Logano said this week that he probably “spouted off” more than he should have against his teammate during the Talladega race, and that it came in the heat of the moment.

During the Talladega race, Logano admitted last week that he likely “spouted off” more than he should have against his teammate, adding that it was in the heat of the moment.

Baseball Hall of Famer Chipper Jones’s criticism of reigning NASCAR champion Logano in a series of social media posts was one of the reactions this week. Jones cheered Logano’s disqualification for failing the postrace inspection, thanked Cindric, and referred to Logano as selfish.
