BREAKING NEWS : Leeds United received a clear directive from Daniel Farke to fire him, but “I don’t really understand.”……

After leading Leeds to promotion to the Premier League, Daniel Farke may depart.

Former striker Tore Andre Flo believes Daniel Farke should be given the chance to lead Leeds United in the Premier League. After two seasons in the Championship, the Whites clinched their return to the top flight last week with a resounding 6-0 victory over Stoke City. With 45 games played, they are now tied with Burnley on points but ahead on goal differential.

This weekend is the last gameday of the season. Burnley hosts Millwall, while Farke’s team travels to Plymouth Argyle. The final day will determine the Championship title.

Leeds is in a great situation now that promotion has been guaranteed, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions over their manager’s future. Farke, who led Norwich City and Borussia Monchengladbach before taking over at Elland Road in 2023.

His Premier League credentials have been questioned by the media because he was demoted with Norwich and has the ninth-worst record of any manager in the top tier.

The club’s ownership hasn’t openly supported Farke as of yet, which has increased rumors that he won’t be back in command for the upcoming campaign.

But according to Flo, the 49ers would be foolish to cut ties with the German. Given Leeds’ performance this season, he maintains Farke has earned the right to guide the team into the Premier League.

In an interview with TEAMtalk, former Leeds striker Flo stated, “I think it would be really strange if Leeds were to sack Daniel Farke after he guided the club back to the Premier League.” “I think that after he has taken them up, he should be granted at least one season up there.

“If you understand what I mean, I find it difficult to comprehend why he ought to be fired. The club should at least support him to keep running the team in the Premier League because, after leading them there, he deserves the chance.”

In the meanwhile, Farke has commented on the reports. It’s a good effort if you last three months, he remarked, adding, “I know for which club I signed. I’m not sure how many managers Leeds had in the last 20 years.”

A contract comes with a lot of expectations, noise, and pressure.

Every week, a person is linked. Nothing is new about it.

He continued, in response to questions prior to Monday’s match against Bristol City: “I’ve said everything I had to say in the press conference, and that’s it. That isn’t even my topic.

Simply put, don’t trust everything you read in the newspaper or anything else; sometimes it’s the exact opposite. I’ve covered every angle on this subject.
