BREAKING NEWS : Prior to AEW Dynamite, Toni Storm was discovered unconscious backstage ……….

At Revolution on Sunday night, Timeless Toni Storm defeated Marina Shafir. But the battle after the game was lost by her. The four-time AEW Women’s World champion was called out by Shafir’s buddy Ronda Rousey. In the chaos that followed Storm’s return to the ring, Shafir used a cheap shot to knock her out.

This led to the news that Toni and Jon Moxley’s right-hand will face off in a No Holds Barred rematch on Dynamite tonight, March 18. However, action was taken to prevent that match from occurring. Renee Paquette’s report from backstage at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California, informed us of this. Luther leads the daring reporter into the dressing room of The Timeless One, where Mina Shirakawa is crying over her unconscious boyfriend lying in a pool of blood.

Shirakawa declares she will battle Shafir tonight and put an end to her after donning her vengeance outfit.

For an event that was only promoting a few matches ahead of time, it’s a fairly significant bait and switch. We shall soon find out if it was a plot device or because Storm was indeed too hurt from the PPV.

Shayna Baszler, a friend of Shafir and Rousey, is rumored to be making her AEW debut tonight. However, the last we heard, she was content to coach in NXT and do her thing on the indies.

When the No Holds Barred match arrives in a little while, we’ll see what transpires. Claire’s live blog has all the action from the Revolution fallout edition of Dynamite as well as the outcomes of that.

Mina was beaten by The Problem, just like her beloved. However, just like Toni, she managed to win by hitting her opponent with a bottle of champagne that Marina had been sipping from only moments before. After completing and pinning Shafir, Shirakawa claimed to have done it for Storm.
