REPORT : The second €100 million signing for Liverpool is now closer……..

With the purchase of a second €100 million player, Liverpool is entering a previously unheard-of realm. Florian Wirtz, followed by another…

Next week, Liverpool is expected to finalize a deal for Florian Wirtz, with Bayer Leverkusen potentially receiving €150 million if add-ons are accepted. To begin with, however, the German will cost approximately €117 million.

It’s also Liverpool’s most successful transfer to date. The Reds believe they are acquiring one of the greatest players in the world, and they are prepared to pay the price accordingly.

In reality, they have never made a signing this significant. The arrival of a player that everyone desired is unprecedented.

However, this summer isn’t like others. Although Liverpool is the Premier League winner, they are also trying to make a statement by changing up their team.

Of course, that statement includes signing Wirtz, but it goes beyond that. It seems that Liverpool is indeed getting closer to making their second €100 million acquisition.

Hugo Ekitike is wanted by Liverpool.

Hugo Ekitike is quite likely to join Liverpool from Eintracht Frankfurt, according to Florian Plettenberg. The Reds might provide that sum of money, but the German team is asking €100 million for their star player.

There must be some sales made by Liverpool because it cannot happen right away.

The transaction is getting closer, and Plettenberg identifies Darwin Nunez as a significant exit to help with it.According to La Repubblica, Liverpool and Napoli are negotiating a deal for Federico Chiesa and Nunez. In essence, doing this will free up funds for Ekitike’s signing, including fees and wages.

Then, everything is moving in the correct direction. Talk of Chelsea leading the race has considerably subsided, and Liverpool now seems to be in the lead for Ekitike.

The money is really all that’s needed to make it happen, but Liverpool is getting closer to that money and, consequently, to Ekitike. Since it depends on previous agreements, we’re not sure how quickly this one can actually go, but everything is going well.

This summer, Liverpool does seek a new striker. Ekitike might be that person, and the club ought to have the resources to make that happen.
