The new home uniform that Manchester United has unveiled for the 2025–2026 campaign will be modeled by their summer acquisitions.
Prior to being formally introduced as the first acquisition of the summer transfer window, Matheus Cunha has been seen wearing the new Manchester United home uniform.
It was revealed at the beginning of the month that United and Wolves had reached an agreement to sign Cunha for his £62.5 million release clause, which would be paid in three installments. Before the transfer is finalized, some paperwork needs to be finished, but the forward has committed to a five-year contract with a one-year option.
After returning from international duty with Brazil, Cunha was supposed to complete his visa and squad registration before he could be formally introduced as a United player. However, his transfer is not anticipated to cause any problems, and it appears that he has already posed for pictures in advance of the impending announcement.
Cunha is seen wearing a new Manchester United shirt.
On Thursday morning, Manchester United unveiled their 2025–2026 home uniform, which features a bold red pattern inspired by Old Trafford. The sleeves have a custom design inspired by their famous home stadium, and the collar and cuffs are black with white trim. The home shirt’s neck is adorned with the phrase “Theatre of Dreams.”
The kit was modeled by first-team players Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo in the official images that went with the release. The academy pair, Ayden Heaven and Kobbie Mainoo, were also featured heavily in the presentation and are expected to be important members of the team next season.
Then, in a social media post, Matheus Cunha was seen sporting the home shirt in unreleased photos taken from the club’s official magazine. The Wolves forward has not yet been signed by United, but they have already done media appearances with him; he will be freed after the agreement is finalized.
In addition to photos from the day he signed his contract, United will release an in-depth interview with the Brazilian as soon as Cunha gets his visa and the deal is registered with the Premier League.
